Customers are advised there is limited availability for seat only bookings online.

What are the conditions of travel?

Customers who hold a Free Travel / DSFA Pass can book on their chosen service by selecting the 'Free Travel Pass' option in the Passenger selection box. Customers are advised there is limited availability for Free Travel bookings online.

  • You can purchase the ticket above using our Journey Planner. Tickets can only be purchased up to 90 days in advance.
  • An allocation of bookings on all InterCity services can be reserved online without a fee for 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders'. When this allocation is fully booked, all remaining seats can be reserved by 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders' for €2.50 per journey.

Belfast Services

Wednesday 3rd July to Sunday early Autumn

From Wednesday 3rd July to Sunday 25th August the line between Lisburn and Belfast will be closed to facilitate works associated with the construction and opening of the new Belfast Grand Central Station.
  • Monday – Friday:  21.35 Belfast to Connolly is advanced to 20.05
  • Saturdays Only: 21.28 Belfast to Connolly is advanced to 20.05
  • During this period, Enterprise services will operate as normal between Dublin Connolly and Portadown only. 
  • Bus transfers will be in place between Newry and Belfast for customers travelling to/from Belfast.
  • Customers for Lurgan, Moira & Lisburn can avail of local Translink NI Railways services between Portadown and Lisburn as normal.

Saturday, 3rd August - Monday, 5th August

  • Engineering works will take place between: Malahide/Drogheda and Belfast/Newry on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th, and Monday 5th August.
  • There will be no train service between Malahide and Belfast.  
  • Enterprise services: Bus transfers will operate between Connolly and Belfast, calling at Drogheda/Dundalk and Newry. Passengers travelling to Portadown, please change at Newry.

  • Mon-Fri 21:35 Belfast to Connolly is advanced to 20:05 
  • Saturday 21:28 Belfast to Connolly is advanced to 20:05
  • Northern commuter Dundalk/Drogheda services: The following stations are closed for train services: Dundalk, Drogheda, Laytown, Gormonston, Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush & Lusk and Donabate.
  • A limited bus transfer service will operate between Drogheda and Connolly, calling at Drogheda/Balbriggan/Donabate/Connolly and between Skerries/Rush & Lusk/Connolly.
