Cross-border Enterprise fare changes from Monday 20th January

Iarnród Éireann has advised customers of fare changes to cross-border journeys on Dublin/Belfast services from Monday 20th January.
Iarnród Éireann and Translink are working to align all aspects of the Enterprise service for a consistent customer experience.
As part of improving the alignment, Iarnród Éireann and Translink are adjusting some fares to make fares from both companies more consistent with each other.
In Iarnród Éireann’s case, from Monday 20th January, Day Return Fares between Dublin and Belfast will increase as follows:

The Flexible Web Single will also increase from €15.99 to €17.50.
Journeys between Dublin and Drogheda/Dundalk will see no changes in fares, with changes applying to cross-border journeys only.
Other measures to improve the service and alignment include:
- Introduction of an hourly service frequency in each direction between Dublin and Belfast from October last, which has seen passenger numbers grow by over 40% on the route in the intervening months.
- Introduction of a common reservation platform for the Enterprise service.
