What are the conditions of travel?

Customers who hold a Free Travel / DSFA Pass can book on their chosen service by selecting the 'Free Travel Pass' option in the Passenger selection box. Customers are advised there is limited availability for Free Travel bookings online.

  • You can purchase the ticket above using our Journey Planner. Tickets can only be purchased up to 90 days in advance.
  • An allocation of bookings on all InterCity services can be reserved online without a fee for 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders'. When this allocation is fully booked, all remaining seats can be reserved by 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders' for €2.50 per journey.

New Car Parking Spaces Available Adjacent to Sallins Station from Tuesday 7th June

Iarnród Éireann will be opening a new car park adjacent to Sallins Station on Tuesday 7th June next. The new facility will provide an additional 200 spaces for commuters

The additional car parking is situated in the Waterways Development. It will be managed by APCOA and payment can be made via the APCOA app, scan pay or at the cash machines and will be open from 06:00hrs to 00:00hrs. The car park will be closed outside of these hours.

A spokesperson for Iarnród Éireann said: “Pre pandemic there was enormous demand for car parking at Sallins, over the last few months we have once again seen more and more people travelling with us. These additional car parking spaces will be welcomed by all of our commuters at Sallins”.
