  • You can purchase the ticket above using our Journey Planner. Tickets can only be purchased up to 90 days in advance.
  • An allocation of bookings on all InterCity services can be reserved online without a fee for 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders'. When this allocation is fully booked, all remaining seats can be reserved by 'Free Travel Pass or valid ticket holders' for €2.50 per journey.

IM Business Reporting Manager

Position:  IM Business Reporting Manager for the Infrastructure Manager’s Department

Location: Based in Inchicore, Dublin 8. (Hybrid working arrangements applicable, as per IÉ Remote Working policy).

Salary: 101k (Yr1) up to 104k (Yr3)  per annum (Commensurate with suitable Qualifications & Experience) – Increments are applied annually on the anniversary of commencement date in the role.

Contract Hours: 36-hour per week.

Contract Duration:  Fixed Term initially leading to permanency.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum, rising to 26 after 1 years’ service, and 28 on

completion of 4 years’ service.

The Infrastructure Manager’s Department (IM) is made up of Engineering, Track /Access/Operations, and support functions. The teams are Civil Engineering, Signal, Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering, building & conservation, and Infrastructure Operations

The successful candidate will become part of the IM Finance team which aligns to the above structure.   The IM Business Reporting Manager will report directly to the Head of IM Finance and will be responsible for assisting in managing the financial control requirements of the IM Business covering budgetary control, financial planning, and financial forecast management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a professional accounting qualification, with at least 8 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience in Forecasting, Planning and Analysis along with periodic management accounts and year end compliance.
  • High level IT skills including demonstrated ability in SAP (FI/CO, MM), and Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability in the preparation of high quality, timely and consistent financial reports, both internal and external.
  • The ability to lead and take ownership of projects
  • Ability to work to strict deadline and strong delivery/execution focus
  • Experience in a people management role
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and change management issues

Desirable Requirements:

  • A knowledge of SAP Project System modules
  • Experience in FP and A and other financial planning and forecasting tools
