Duration – 12-month fixed term contract
The CIE Group is seeking to recruit a Health Screening Nurse to work in their Occupational Health Unit which provides occupational health services to over 10,000 public transport employees.
The main role of the Health Screening Nurse is in the clinical assessment of employees who attend the Unit. This is mainly as part of pre-employment health assessments. It takes the form of performing ECGs, Height and Weight checks, Urinalysis and Drug Screening, Audiometry/hearing screening and relevant finger prick blood testing. The role will also involve participation in immunisation clinics.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse
Desirable qualifications
- Phlebotomy training
- Audiometry certificate
- Spirometry certificate
- Drug and Alcohol collection training
- Experience of working in an occupational health setting
- Immunisation experience
- 2 years minimum experience post registration
