Digital Learning Manager
Location – Candidate Dependent
Salary – Exec C €60,764 -€74,857 (on a 6-year scale)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and deliver effective digital learning capability for the Talent Development function.
- Utilise technologies to instruct and educate.
- Lead the introduction of a Learning Management System.
- Lead the end-to-end creation of eLearning courses integrating multimedia and interactive features.
- Utilise the ADDIE model in evaluation of eLearning courses.
- Act as the lead subject matter expert and advisor on all Digital Learning initiatives.
- Develop guides, resources and content for the LMS.
- Develop metrics for evaluation and return of investment on digital learning programmes and initiatives.
- Lead and champion the introduction of digital learning platforms and initiatives as part of a wider blended approach to learning and development.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define, shape and implement digital learning strategies.
- Act as the lead point of contact for digital learning.
- Manage and drive the delivery of Digital Learning programmes and content, both on-line and in-house on an operational and strategic level.
- Design and produce Standard Operating Procedures for the reliable and effective delivery of Digital Learning initiatives.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
- Maximise the effectiveness of Learning and Development initiatives by keeping updated on the latest trends, technology and applications.
- Design the introduction of a policy to log internal and external CPD.
- Support the delivery of the Talent Development Strategy
- Work closely with the entire Talent Development team on the areas contained in the three key pillars of Learning and Development, Talent Development and Talent Management.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including the People Platform team.
- Log technical issues with the technical support function of the platform partner.
- Oversee upgrades and customisations required for the digital learn platform and LMS.
Essential:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualification, accreditation and or relevant experience
- Technical skills in a range of software and collaboration tools
- Proven track record in eLearning development
- Experience in LMS management
- Experience in instructional design
- Experience working with Technical Support and third-party stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to analyse problems and potential solutions
Desirable:
- Experience of developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
- Qualification in UX design
- Experience in digital media
- Qualification in information technology
- Experience in content creation for digital platforms
- Experience with Articulate Storyline 2 or relevant content creation applications and video editing tools.
